Meetings
The club meets monthly, on the 2nd Thursday, September to June. No meetings are held in either July or August. We meet at the East Bayfield Community Centre in the general purpose room on the 2nd floor. Meetings are 1:30 – 3:15 p.m. The elevator is just to the right of the reception desk on the ground floor for those requiring it.

Sales CircuitOur Sales Circuit books and red boxes provide a variety of worldwide philatelic items at very reasonable prices. There are single stamps, sets, souvenir sheets and larger pieces. Our selection of available material continues to grow. Canada, Great Britain, and Australia are well represented, as are several other countries. Both members and visitors may buy from our sales circuits with payment made at time of purchase. |
Silent Auction TablesOur silent auction table was largely missing due to space constraints. We will once again start hosting a silent auction, where members may place material for auction at our meetings. Our members have diverse collecting interests, which are reflected in the items available for auction. You may find singles, sets, packets, covers or postal history. Members or visitors may place bids on any of the items. The Silent Auction end time is announced during the meeting. All items must be paid for at that time. |
Visitors
Visitors are always welcome at the Barrie District Stamp Club. We provide a relaxed social setting where people can ask questions, receive guidance and socialize with other collectors. Whatever your type of collection or your level of experience you will find someone you can talk to. Drop in for a visit, meet our members, share your interests and who knows what magic may happen!
